From Ed Sheeran to Taylor Swift, One Direction, The Kooks and Kylie Minogue, all the big acts are coming to town this year.
Frontier Touring have confirmed that Ed Sheeran will be bringing his biggest tour to date to Brisbane. Sheeran will be the first musician in twenty years to undertake a national headline arena tour completely solo.
Accompanied on stage by only a loop pedal and his trusty acoustic guitar, his ability to fill even the biggest of rooms is testament to his unique talent and appeal as a live performer.
The reigning queen of the airwaves, Taylor Swift, will perform at Suncorp Stadium on Saturday 5 December 2015 as part of her 1989 World Tour. Taylor returns to the Stadium following her hugely successful Red Tour in 2013.
She will be supported by promising Melbourne artist, Vance Joy. Notably, Swift will be the first female solo artist to play stadiums on back-to-back Australian tours, following the hugely successful The Red Tour of summer 2014, which garnered high praise from fans and critics alike.
Sinead O’Connor is bringing her tour to Australia, with a one night only performance in Brisbane. Renowned for her 90′s breakthrough with the single ‘nothing compares to you’ this artist has now released ten albums with seven million records sold.
The tour named I”m not bossy, I’m the boss is reflective of this artists goal to achieve true equality within the music industry. O’Connor creates a raw atmosphere in her music, drawing upon her own personal experiences through triumphs and struggles. It is a refreshing honesty. This tour will impress and inspire.
The Black Keys
Following the release of their latest album Turn Blue, The Black Keys are set to embark on their 8th Australian tour in April 2015.
In other exciting news, they will be kicking off the Australian leg of the tour at the Brisbane River Stage! With a true essence of rock and roll and sheer talent, this performance is sure to have you on your feet and rocking out to some great tunes.
Future Music Festival 2015
Future Music Festival is set to be headlined by Drake, The Prodigy and Avicii. Hilltop Hoods will play just before Drake on the Future Live Stage which is also bolstered by 2 Chainz, Example, Sigma, Gorgon City and Kiesza.
Other acts that will be rocking out at the Brisbane Showgrounds include Art Department, Apollonia: Shonky, Dan Ghenacia, Dyed Soundorom, Die Antwoord, Sigma and 2 Chainz.
This year Drake will be performing headline shows in Australia, including Brisbane, for the very first time.

Foo Fighters, one of the biggest bands in the world, have announced a massive six-show stadium tour of Australia and will be playing in Brisbane on 24 February.
This will be the band’s first run of Australian shows since December 2011. They’ll be supported by Chicago punk rock trailblazers Rise Against and Melbourne rockers The Delta Riggs.
Chet Faker, (aka Melbournian native Nicholas Murphy) has announced details of his biggest Australian tour to date and the final tour of his award-winning breakthrough debut LP Built On Glass.

Kylie Minogue Kiss Me Once Tour
Pop princess Kylie Minogue is set to visit all capital cities on her Kiss Me Once Tour, hitting Brisbane on March 21, 2015.
This will be Minogue’s first major national tour since her Aphrodite world tour hit Australian shores in 2011 and follows hot on the heels of her successful Kiss Me Once album, released in March, which went to number one on the Australian album charts.
Renowned for their hit laden sell-out concerts, the Eagles are bringing their critically acclaimed ‘History of the Eagles’ World Tour to Brisbane in March.
The legendary ‘Hotel California’ outfit will perform their career-spanning “History Of the Eagles” concerts, which sees members Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B Schmit deliver an incredible three-hour songfest of classic Eagles hits, including tracks the band had never previously performed live.
Since forming in 2010, One Direction have broken records, topped charts and generated numerous hit singles.
The British boy band are set to play at Suncorp Stadium on their On the Road Again Tour this February. The tour is their fourth headlining concert tour and will promote the band’s fourth album, Four along with favourites from their previous albums Midnight Memories, Take Me Home and Up All Night.
English singer and songwriter Sam Smith rose to fame in 2012. In 2014 he released his debut album In the Lonely Hour which features singles such as, Lay Me Down, Money on My Mind and Stay With Me. 2014 also saw Smith nominated for six Grammy awards including Best New Artist and Album of the Year. Touring Australia, Sam Smith is set to perform at the Brsibane Riversatge in April.
Since their formation in 2004 British Rock band The Kooks have become music festival favourites and have performed in arenas worldwide. Upon releasing their fourth studio album Listen, this band are set to tour Australia this January, kicking off at the Brisbane riverstage.
Electronic pop trio London Grammar burst in to the music scene after the release of their first album If You Wait with hit singles such as Strong, Wasting my Young Years and Hey Now. With excellent leading vocals and melancholy vibe, this trio has become very successful and has collaborated with popular artists such as disclosure. London Grammar is set to perform at the Riverstage in march this year.
Michael David Rosenburg, or Passenger is a English folk rock singer and songwriter. After breaking away from his former band, Rosenburg insisted on keeping the name Passenger for his solo work which he launched in 2009. He has since released four albums and has gained a large following in Australia.
Passanger is known for its acoustical oriented sound and heartfelt lyrics which are evident in the explosive single Let her go which was nominated for British single of the year in 2014 With the release of his latest album Whispers, Rosenburg will return to the shores of Australia to perform all of his latest songs at the Brisbane Riverstage.
Popular British Boy Band The Vamps saw success after being discovered in 2012, since they have released chart topping singles such as Can We Dance, which landed number two on the UK singles chart.
Their first album was titled Meet The Vamps, released early 2014 and had singles such as Last Night and Wildheart. The band are set to perform at the Brisbane Riverstage in January.
Irish Pop Band, The Script formed in 2001 and since have become renowned for their heartfelt tunes such as Breakeven (Falling To Pieces), Superheroes and Hall of Fame which topped charts worldwide.
After releasing their fourth studio album No Sound Without Silence in July 2014, this band are ready to perform at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre in May.
5 seconds of summer
Australian Pop Rock Band 5 Seconds of Summer formed in early 2011 after gaining a large following online and supporting popular band One Direction, this band have sky-rocketed to success. 5 Seconds of Summer released their debut self titled album in July 2014.
Singles such as She Looks So Perfect, Don’t Stop and Amnesia have topped Australian charts and have made this band successful on a international scale. 5 Seconds of Summer are set to perform at the Brisbane entertainment centre in June 2015.
