Ben & Jerry’s Openair Cinemas will host two spooktacular screenings, spellbinding food and seriously scary tunes this freaky Friday.

Kicking off the nightmares is What We Do In The Shadows, a vampire comedy set in New Zealand which received rave reviews at the Sundance Festival. Directed by Taika Waititi (Boy, Eagle vs Shark) and Jemaine Clement (Flight of the Conchords), it’s about how vampires get by in the 21st century, and it’s been hailed as the best mockumentary since Spinal Tap.

Next up is Dracula Untold, directed by first-timer Gary Shore and starring Luke Evans from The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug and Fast & Furious 6. This fantasy-action horror explores the hair-raising tale of the birth of a monster and is sure to emit some ominous vibes.

Taking place under the haunting woodland canopy of South Bank’s Rainforest Green, ticketholders are invited to dress up in their darkest disguise. From wicked wizards to ghastly goblins, chilling prizes will be up for grabs and a best dressed will be crowned on the night.

DJ Mikey will be joining the fun, mixing some of the finest old school hip hop, nu disco and bloodcurdling beats guaranteed to see those hands in the air and people screeching for more.

Vespa Pizza will be recreating their delicious signature dishes with a mouth-watering monster menu featuring jack-o-lantern sweet potato fries, stuffed crust skulls and pumpkin head pizzas.

Guests will be able to enjoy all the action in comfort and style as deckchairs, bean loungers and blankets can be hired as part of the ticket packages available. Volkswagen Polo Class tickets also include reserved bean lounger seating, a blanket, a drink and a Ben & Jerry’s shortie.
