Take a step back in time and get set to indulge your vintage desires at the Rocklea Showgrounds.

A vintage fair is pretty much a treasure hunt for adults. You can search high and low for hidden gems and it’s perfectly acceptable to squeal in delight when you find what you’re looking for.

With this in mind, you’re going to want to spend Sunday 21 September at the Rocklea Showgrounds, because the Collectorville Retro Fair is taking place and we can promise you that there’ll be plenty of reasons to squeal.

If you’re a fan of vintage fashion finds you’ll have a ball wandering through more than 35 stalls of antique fashion, art deco home-wares and old world accessories. They will even be some special treats in stall for kids who are after some pre-loved goodies with My Vintage Childhood offering a range of timeless children’s clothes, toys, games and nursery décor.

Of course you’ll need to keep your energy up for all that shopping so it’s the perfect place to indulge in some street food stall fare. Beer and wine will be on offer along with coffee and some sweet treats for desert. The Juan More Taco van will be on hand if you’re in the mood to mix some Mexican eats in with your vintage shopping trip.  They offer an evolving menu with differing meat, vegetarian and vegan options and all tacos are served in soft corn tortillas (gluten free, of course) piled with handmade salsas and special sauces.

So whether you’re looking for an old-fashion gown with a story to tell, a bag just like your grandma used to have or a little vintage style for your home the Collectorville Retro Fair is where you need to be.

The Collectorville Retro Fair will run from 9am to 3pm on Sunday 21 September at Rocklea Showground. For more information, check out our event guide.
