Flex your fingers and uncap your pens, Brisbane Writers Festival is here and there are free activities waiting for you.

Attention, Brisbane writers — it’s time to step out of the shadows and take a break from trying to solve the problems of fictional people because Brisbane Writers Festival is here!

We all know writing is a labour of love and success does not always show up in your bank account, so we’ve pulled together some of the best free events taking place at BWF. So there’s no need to slog through the streets with a ‘will write for food’ sign, because we’ve got you covered.
