Free family activities

Free exciting wildlife shows and kids rides, free face painting 9am to 11am daily, free colouring in competition.

Zoo keeper for a day

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to work as a Zoo Keeper? Well, now you can find out by joining Australia Zoo’s Zoo Keeper For A Day Programs. There are four exciting and interactive programs to choose from available to children aged seven and upwards.

Future zoo keepers will spend a day under the guidance of animal experts, learning stacks of fascinating things about wildlife. Best of all, they’ll enjoy plenty of behind-the-scenes action and hands-on animal encounters!

You can also get up close to many of Australia’s drop dead gorgeous wildlife including koalas, kangaroos, and of course, those you-beaut crocs.
