The circus is in town, and this time, it’s got a distinctly South American flavour.

Owned by Natalie and Rudy Weber, Webers Circus promises to keep you on the edge of your seat with first-class acts from around the world.

The four very cute miniature horses and the cheeky Comedy Dogs are surefire crowd pleasers, and with the help of Australia’s funniest clowns, they’re guaranteed to keep you laughing.

If you prefer your entertainment to be a little more dangerous than that, the Wheel of Death is probably for you — performed by Colombian stuntman Hewin, it’s the most death-defying and spectacular act the circus has to offer. As part of the act, Hewin runs around a huge wheel that almost touches the top of the tent, jumping and skipping as he goes. Better him than us, that’s all we’re saying.

Another feature act is the epic Russian Swing, which sees the three Weber sisters somersaulting through the air before being caught (hopefully) by a catcher seven metres high off the ground.

The show also includes silks, hula hoops, juggling, Spanish web, salsa dancing and more.

Webers Circus runs from Friday 27 June to Sunday 20 July at Hercules Park (on the corner of Kingsford Smith Drive and Remora Road, Hamilton); tickets go on sale one hour before show time at the ticket office out front of the big top (cash sales only).

Tickets can also be booked online at; for all enquiries, call 0448 247 287 or 0448 CIRCUS.

We’re giving away 10 family passes to Webers Circus; get your entries in before Monday June 30 and don’t miss out!
