Sirromet Winery at Mount Cotton has mothers covered with a wine tasting and tour this Sunday. The 5-star estate will host an array of activities, starting with a three course menu at Lurleen’s restaurant, live music at the cellar door, tastings, lunch on the decadent Tuscan terrace and to keep the kids busy – jumping castles, rock climbing, hot rods, clowns and rides.

Victoria Park

Since 1931 the Victoria Park golf course and clubhouse has been a place for a family affair. Victoria Park’s greenery will once again fill with families on Mother’s Day for the buffet breakfast or French-inspired lunch, catered with live entertainment and French sparkling wine.

Emporium Hotel is set to host a Mother’s Day high tea in its cocktail bar on Sunday. With gourmet treats and champagne to satisfy any palate, Emporium will be the ultimate treat for Mum.

For the first time Alfred & Constance will host a gourmet Mother’s Day breakfast. The trendy restaurant has combined our favourite traditional breakfasts for menu, with some sneaky cocktails to compliment.

Begin the morning with some delectable pastries from Chester Street Bakery. The gourmet bakers have prepared some beautiful cakes specifically for the occasion.

QSO Mother’s Day concert

The Queensland Symphony Orchestra will host a Happy Mother’s Day concert this Sunday and what better way to treat Mum than with music and magic. The event is to be hosted by Guy Noble and  musicians such as Dvořák’s nostalgic, Rossini, and Tchaikovsky.

The Our Kitchen Garden vintage fair specialises in hand crafted goodies that will make Mum swoon. This year marks the sixth vintage fair, where Our Kitchen Garden sells restored goods, up-cycled and repurposed vintage finds.

orchid mothers day show

The annual Aspley Orchid Mothers Day Show is sureto get your Mum’s green thumb buzzing with its wide variety of orchid flowers, potting demonstrations, cultural advice, and floral arrangements. Each year the proceeds support the Aspley Special School and 2014 funds will be directed to a new school bus.
