Reunited 1990s American rock band Veruca Salt have announced they will tour Australia later this year.

The band, best known for their debut single Seether, which was No.6 on Triple J’s Hottest 100 list in 1994, have confirmed their recently announced reunion tour will include a string of shows Down Under.

Their Australian leg of the tour will kick off in Brisbane on September 24 before heading to Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.

The alternative rockers announced their reunion in March and released two new singles, The Museum of Broken Relationships and It’s Holy, on April 19.

It’s the first new music from the original line-up (Nina Gordon, Lousie Post, Steve Lack and Jim Shapiro) since their 1997 track Eight Arms to Hold You.
