One of Australia’s leading charities for children is hosting a glamorous gala ball for Brisbane locals to dance night away for a good cause.

It’s time to don your best formal attire and prepare for a night of fun and frivolity under the stars.

The Act for Kids Gala Ball will take place on Saturday 10 May to raise funds for Australia’s abused and neglected kids. Act for Kids has provided professional therapy to prevent and treat child abuse across the country for more than 25 years, which is only made possible through events such as the Gala Ball.

More than 400 people are expected to attend the glamorous evening event at Sofitel Brisbane’s Grand Ballroom, where guests will enjoy fine wine and food along with live entertainment.

The evening will offer guests the opportunity to win and bid on exclusive items in the charity auction, including:

  • His and hers TAG Heuer watches (combined value of $12,200)
  • Overseas holiday packages to New Zealand, Fiji and Bali
  • A wine tasting getaway in the Barossa Valley
