It’s back – the 36th annual Gold Coast Airport Marathon is on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 July right on our doorsteps – and entries are open now!

Make a day or a weekend of it…we’ve given you plenty of notice and the course is renowned worldwide for being flat, fast and scenic, running alongside the beautiful Broadwater and sparkling surf beaches.

The Gold Coast Airport Marathon is expecting more than 30,000 participants of all ages and abilities from all around our State, interstate and overseas.

There are a number of options to cater for all levels of fitness including:
• The Gold Coast Airport Marathon;
• The Wheelchair Marathon;
• ASICS Half Marathon;
• Wheelchair 15km;
• Southern Cross University 10km Run;
• Suncorp Bank 5.7km Challenge; and,
• The Junior Dash 2km & 4km races.

If you prefer to be a cheerleader, then join the excitement on the sidelines and help keep the runners’ spirits up by providing some ‘Runspiration’.

There is a 10 per cent discount for teams of at least 20 runners. There is also the opportunity for participants to fundraise for the event’s official charity, Cancer Council Queensland, or another charity of their choice.

Everyone finishing the Gold Coast Airport Marathon, ASICS Half Marathon and Southern Cross University 10km Run will receive a finishers’ shirt and medal. Suncorp Bank 5.7km Challenge entrants will receive a participant shirt and medal. Junior Dash entrants will receive a cap upon race number collection. All finishers’ results and certificates will be online. Results will be published in the Gold Coast Bulletin on 7 July.
