James Street will be welcoming the new season with a three-day autumnal celebration of cuisine and produce from rural Queensland.

James Street will be bringing the country to the city to celebrate all-things-autumn with markets, cooking demonstrations and wine tastings, taking place March 14 to 16.

Artisan producers and growers from Queensland’s regional farms will be selling fresh picks on the Saturday.

Adam Liaw, host of SBS Destination Flavour and former Masterchef season two winner will be teaming with James Street Cooking School for demonstrations on sweet and savoury dishes for autumn.

Visitors will experience country life first-hand at the farm gate stalls, where rustic roadside carts filled with fresh produce will be scattered through the precinct.

There will also be a chance to try free-range pork from Queensland’s Granite Belt at a Sunday BBQ to be held at Gerard’s Bistro.
