Brisbane band, Rawr Vanity, is making a name for itself on the local and national scene.
Electro pop rock quartet Rawr Vanity have been turning heads and making a name for themselves since officially hitting the Brisbane music scene in 2010.
The dual male and female lead vocals are complemented by three-part harmonies, and merge their musical influences from the 70s and 80s with the production value and popular music of the present.
The band— Matt O’Reilly, Jesse Simo-swer, Wacey Coates and Carly Sinn—opened for Aussie rock legend Jimmy Barnes and 80s Australian group Pseudo Echo, plus acquired local festival slots alongside names such as Daryl Braithwaite, Toni Childs, and Australian Idol singer Wes Carr.
See them while you can at the Big Gay Day, 9 March at the Wickham Hotel. Along with Rawr Vanity, you can catch 80s favourite Boy George, Marc Vedo, Freemasons, the potbelleez, Luciana, cazwell, Sarah de Bono, Sveta, dan Slater, Beth Yen and Sammy Superstar.
