Following the success this year, Sanctuary Cove will welcome The Mummy Tree Markets back in 2014.

The chic baby and children’s market which has an array of unique and quality products and services for pregnancy, babies, children and parents will return to Sanctuary Cove’s Marine Village from March to December next year.

Sanctuary Cove is a resort-style masterplanned community on the Gold Coast, featuring two 18-hole championship golf courses, a 300-berth marina, InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort, and a Country Club including full fitness centre, tennis courts and 25m swimming pool.

Mulpha Sanctuary Cove’s head of events Johan Hasser says The Marine Village is excited to be hosting The Mummy Tree Markets in 2014.

“The Mummy Tree Markets have become quite a popular event here at Sanctuary Cove which has been great for The Marine Village precinct.

“Between the setting and the products and entertainment on offer it is a great family day out and we look forward to continuing to work with The Mummy Tree Markets next year,“ he says.

The Mummy Tree Markets offers a variety of products and services including children’s clothing, unique handmade toys, gourmet food, jewellery, home décor items and much more.

With competitions, gourmet food, entertainment and market raffle giveaways the markets have something for the whole family to enjoy.

Marketing Manager of The Mummy Tree Markets for the Gold Coast and stall owner of Bumble Bee Boy’s Boutique, Timiney Colefax says the team is delighted to be returning to Sanctuary Cove next year.

“Sanctuary Cove is our biggest market and the most family friendly with a great location on the water, an inviting atmosphere and a larger space it means more stalls have the opportunity to sell there,” he says.

There is heaps of kids’ entertainment with a face painter, a kids’ DJ, a magician, characters such as Alice in Wonderland, play dough people, jumping castles and Music with Monica where she plays guitar for the children.

“You’re not stuck walking around for 30 minutes, people stay there for hours and it’s a chance to let the kids run wild!” he says.

The last of The Mummy Tree Markets for 2013 will be held at Sanctuary Cove on Saturday, 14 December, from 1pm to 6pm and will recommence in 2014 on Saturday, March 1, from 9am to 1pm.

Mummy Tree Markets are also run at Robina on the Gold Coast, Everton Park and Morningside in Brisbane and Mountain Creek on the Sunshine Coast.
