Music By The Sea Festival 2014  is set to rock Brisbane’s scenic Moreton Bay once again.

The Music by the Sea festival will ride in on the tide of a new year with its signature mix of world class comedy, jazz, folk, world music and classical performances from 10 January to 12 January, at the 100 year old Sandgate Town Hall. Now in its 12th year, this boutique Music by the Sea festival has built up a legion of fans who relish the opportunity to enjoy some highly acclaimed international and Australian acts in the comfort and intimacy of an iconic, air conditioned and acoustically blessed venue.

Waves of sound will also flow out onto the local streets with the Acoustic Cafe Series, as some of the city’s top performers entertain music lovers in between sessions at The Coffee Club, Gloria Jeans and local venue Cardigan Bar.

Music By The Sea conducts monthly (first Saturday of the month) concerts at the Sandgate Town Hall. The concert series began in 1997. Program presented is classical, folk, jazz and world music.
The Sandgate Town Hall is a heritage listed architectural gem with superb acoustics.
It has been restored in 2011 with new air-conditioning, dance floor, lighting and sound.
Performances are intimate, giving the audience a much greater experience than a performance in a large concert hall.
