Lanza Sings Again is the incredible life story and absolute hit of Mario Lanza, one of the greatest tenors of our time. Mario lived an incredible life, fulfilling an enormous and impacting career until his unfortunate death at age 38. The show stars popular star tenor Roy Best, international soprano Alison Jones, narrated by Chris McKenna and musical director on piano, Len Vorster.

The talented star tenor Roy Best will be leading the show singing all the songs in Lanza’s original keys. Roy has had an incredible rise in Australian show business from being a finalist in ABC TV Operatunity OZ to recordings with ABC Classics, to playing principal roles with the Victorian Opera.

Joining Roy will be international soprano Alison Jones who will play the role of Kathryn Grayson, Mario Lanza’s preferred soprano, who also played alongside him in many films. The bright and talented Alison has previously performed at RPAC in The Pirates of Penzance and has played leading roles with The D’Oyly Carte Opera Company in the Savoy Theatre in London, an honour rarely bestowed.

This brand-new production is produced by Promac Australia who brought The Pirates of Penzance and John Bowles – My Life in the Musicals to RPAC. The show will be packed with great highlights of the man once dubbed the greatest tenor in the world and will feature all of your favourite Lanza songs including Be My Love, Because You’re Mine, La Donna E Mobileand Strangers in Paradise.
