I get quite a few questions about my hair, but recently, I was in desperate need of a touch-up.
Last year, I went from blonde to having balayage, which I was super nervous about but I’m so happy I did it! I love the way it looks, it’s easier to maintain and I feel like it’s more ‘me’.
To get my hair redone, I went along to Luppinos Organic Hair Salon in Brisbane’s CBD. I was after a balayage refresh and a trim. I was looked after by Paul who made sure I understood every part of the process and he sat down with me before anything to discuss what I wanted and what he could do to achieve that. While I waited, I was able to drink a nice cup of tea and munch of biccies, which is always a plus!
My hair took a few hours because I wanted the blonde lifted higher so it wasn’t so far down. I was able to read the latest gossip mags – I love going to the hairdressers for that reason!
I walked out feeling so happy with how my hair looked, how it felt and it was the perfect refresh to otherwise dull hair.
I’d absolutely recommend visiting Luppinos and letting them work their magic! I was looked after from the moment I stepped in until the moment I left. The staff were really lovely and it’s the type of place you want to go back to. I left with blow dried and curled hair which lasted all day, even through the wind and humidity outside.
You can find Luppinos tucked away at 150 Charlotte Street. It was a bit of a mission to find, so best to go down Elizabeth Street and turn left into the alleyway.
If you’re looking for a new salon, make sure you check them out!
