Step aside, Ghibli Museum — there’s a new Ghibli-themed attraction in town.

According to an Anime News Network translation of a Chunichu Web report, Studio Ghibli will open a new attraction in Aichi’s Expo Park in 2020.

The park will be themed around the 1988 anime classic, My Neighbour Totoro.

A full-size recreation of the main characters’ house from My Neighbour Totoro is already open at the Expo Park site. The house was unveiled during the 2005 World’s Fair.

The house has already been the site of a Studio Ghibli exhibition in both 2008 and 2015.

This will be a much more expansive attraction, however, spread over a 200-hectare area.

In keeping with the environmentalist themes of Studio Ghibli’s films, producer Toshio Suzuki and Aichi prefectural governor Hideaki Omura have pledged that the construction of the attraction will not cause damage to Expo Park through felling trees or any other methods.

As most visitors to Japan probably know, the studio already operates The Ghibli Museum, located in Mitaka in Tokyo.

Next stop: World domination…
