Bowen Hills’ new dining precinct just got a little tastier with the opening of The Pine Kitchen, a modern Lebanese fusion eatery.

Serving up a modern Australian twist on Middle Eastern cuisine, The Pine Kitchen will invite diners to fall in love with the culture behind hearty share plates, nourishing soul foods and tasty tapas.

With a menu that encourages sharing, The Pine Kitchen operates on the philosophy that food is a catalyst for coming together and sharing in life’s pleasures.

The menu aims to offer something for everyone, with everything from shakshuka eggs, a Middle Eastern breakfast favourite, to desserts like meringues topped with spiced crème fraiche and Turkish delight.

You’ll also find treats like chargrilled rosemary and lamb shoulder; Pine falafel burgers; cardamom and beetroot marinated wagyu beef rump; and their signature spiced lamb kofta. For those in need of a pick-me-up, they also calibrate their quality roasted coffee beans every day to ensure their coffee is served to perfection.

About the only thing they don’t offer is alcohol — but patrons are free to BYO with no corkage fee.

Andrew Hay, the project director for the Brisbane Showgrounds, says The Pine Kitchen is an exciting addition to the King Street precinct.

“We’re thrilled to welcome such a diverse and community-driven cuisine to Brisbane’s most exciting food precinct,” he says, “and we’re sure The Pine Kitchen is going to satisfy appetites both young and old.”

The Pine Kitchen (King Street, Bowen Hills) is open now for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
