The Brisbane Food Truck Collective, an alliance of more than 20 food trucks, have announced their first event.

The Collective first came together five months ago in a bid to strengthen and support the Brisbane food truck scene, create new events and source new locations.

The group recently launched an inner-city location on Margaret Street (between George and William Streets), giving city workers the choice of two different food trucks each day.

Now the group are launching their first event, created solely by food truck operators for food truck fans.

The Food Truck Collective event will include the likes of King of the Wings, Micasa, The Dapper & Chic, Rolling Stone Pizza, How We Rolls, Jaffle Shmaffle, Kraut ‘n’ About and Ruby the Little Red Ice Cream Van.

The group have also secured All Inn Brewing Co to set up their craft brewery on site.

The Food Truck Collective’s first gathering will be held at the Volunteer Marine Rescue grounds at 95 Allpass Parade, Shorncliffe on Sunday 18 December from 12pm to 3pm.
